I had one instance of accidentally pressing out of the quiz and had to retake a whole quiz so I could sort the characters by quiz accuracy. It would be nice to benchmark what I need to work on without having to retake a whole quiz. You can actively talk to the developer of the app, I think personally built in kanji vocab SRS would be incredible, and the ability to view past quizzes. You can easily study stroke order for every kanji and it helps with memorizing in the long run. Another honorable mention is stroke order. Is it worth it to spend so much for the IOS appLong story short: There are no additional features that ma. You also are not able to look at previous quizzes, so if you test and leave that screen before split the deck to work on it, you have to retake the quiz. Youre probably already using Anki on your laptop. You also can sort based on your weakest kanji from quizzes. I usually do 100 and then test myself to see if there's any that need major work. It gives me an idea of what I have to work on and try to remember the differences between kanji. Now I feel like the by far most useful function of kanji study has been the quiz function. So from a context standpoint I think it might be a bit weird to follow it strictly. Now I will say, I have shown some of my Japanese friends the GRS questions and told me some are a bit weird. It's much much easier and not as irritating since it's simply a fade feature. You don't need any work arounds like you do on kindle like scroll to a certain point or if you use the physical books, use something to block the text. It just makes it simplistic in storage and it's all at your disposal immediately. You don't need a ridiculous amount of books to review. It definitely feels a lot more convenient in an app. The GRS also hides readings the first time so there's no need to use your screen margin (like only scroll to a certain point) or something to cover it if you own the physical books. Great Kanji App- Best So Far Id been waiting for this to be released, and it hasnt disappointed. You can use flash cards, quiz yourself, and read GRS. It covers all the essential characters, so you can be sure you’ll get the right base. For now, the app lets you learn over 2K kanji scripts, and its number will grow with time. Basically I study about 5 new kanji a day, and this app makes it incredibly easy to do so. It’s a simple kanji education app that will help you remember Japanese terms in the most effective way. Each kanji has detailed information and many examples. The app I would say is by far one of the best references or even resources for Japanese. You can learn kanji with flashcards, quizzes and JLPT testing.
